Even when battling childhood cancer, doctors, families and patients will tell you that rarely, if ever, does it go to plan and adaptability and change are often components to successful treatment.
Today, on our way to 175 days of training for Ultramilano-Sanremo, I needed to call an audible.
I had to fill in for our regular public affairs program host after our show today, then after that I had my scheduled visit with my psychiatrist (bi-polar…I’m only this bubbly and energetic through counseling and meds) and then good ol’ Houston traffic delayed my arrival home.
So, I’m switching today’s run with tomorrow’s off day and that will put me right back on track for my weekend runs.
