HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Signet Interactive today announced the Snowdrop Foundation as the beneficiary for its 6th Annual Houston Tweet Drive, a social media inspired charity event that brings the community together for a holiday toy drive. This year’s Tweet Drive will be held December 6th at Irish Cowboy located in Houston Midtown.

Each year, the Houston Tweet Drive selects a local charity to receive proceeds from its trendy toy drive and fundraiser. This event is open to the public where each guest’s donation of an unwrapped toy or book is their admission “ticket” into an evening of live music, drinks and community cheer. This year’s event will honor the Snowdrop Foundation, a local charity who are in need of toys for children during the holiday season. Working closely with the Texas Children’s Cancer Center, the Snowdrop Foundation helps children fighting varying stages of cancer and providing them with toys and books while in the hospital throughout the year.

To help raise awareness and funding for the continued research to cure childhood cancer, Houston Tweet Drive encourages its event participants and the Houston community to tweet and post on social media using the hashtags #TweetDrive2016 and #TweetforSnowdrops as well as mention @HouTweetDrive and @SnowdropCC in the days leading up to and during the night of the event.
In addition, Signet has brought together nine local sponsors including Saint Arnold’s Brewery, BlueWave Express Car Wash, Live Well Chiropractic and the venue sponsor, Irish Cowboy, to put on this charitable networking event that will include live entertainment, food, drinks, games, prizes and more.
